Stopping by the River

Stopping by the river to sketch one day I saw a little critter across the way. It was small and puppy-like but could have been a fox or coyote stopping by the river for a drink. It was so well blended into the landscape, if I hadn't been looking so hard at the details to draw, I would have missed him.
