Birch Aquarium Sea Bass

I got a membership to the Birch Aquarium in La Jolla and have been going with friends. While there I have been doing lots of sketches and this is the first of a series about my experience there. The big fish at the top is the Sea Bass - and is like an ocean liner cruising along the top of the sea! I so love all the colorful fish with the beautiful patterns. They have a wonderful funny variety of expressions and shapes!
