Desert Night Music

I have painted this scene of La Quinta out in the desert at night, several times. I like to see how my style changes and to add new elements to this favorite scene of a favorite place. In this adaptation, I made the sky and cosmos thick with gold and silvery stars, the milky way and nebula's. The texture of the cactus in the foreground echoes the gold stars in the skies, bringing the heavens back home.
