Harley Sunshine

I was asked to paint this painting of Harley Sunshine, after she had been diagnosed with Hermangiosarcoma and some other health issues. It was a job close to heart as both my Golden's - who have passed - had Hermangiosarcoma, a cancer of the heart. I was able to finish the portrait before she passed, and after she was gone I was told it gave the family comfort to have the cards I made while they waited for the painting to dry. There are secret words in the painting. At the top right "You are My Sunshine" and at the bottom right "My Harley Sunshine" a little song the owner sang to her every day. RIP dear Harley Sunshine, you are loved and missed every day, and I hope some part of your golden spirit will shine out of your painting and bring your family happiness at the wonderful life you shared.
