Broken Hills Trail Torrey Pines

This is the second Torrey Pines painting I've done based on sketches from last summer on a day hiking trip there. I wanted the colors to be soft and more naturalistic than I usually do - because I find the combination of soft sages, and neutralized lavenders and purples, next to the burnt siennas, ice blues, and every shade of green - to be so beautiful and soul satisfying.
