Watermelon Window

This painting represents a time machine for me! My memories of Richmond VA took me back to a house I lived in many years ago, in the west end. The scene through the window is of that little house and our willow tree with the periwinkles growing under it and the flowering crepe myrtle, the flowers and grassy yard. The watermelon, summer daisies and purple flowers with the lemons are the epitome of summer!
