Gathering at the Downtown Subscription

The Downtown Subscription is a beloved coffee shop in the Canyon Road arts district of Santa Fe. There are beautiful old adobe homes in that area, and the Acequia Madre runs through this part of town. I made the coyote part of the pattern of vegetation and wrote "love" in the foliage at his feet. The ravens are larger than life and chattering up a storm, all juiced up on coffee fumes! I swear I witnessed this exact exchange early one morning as I stood in the street sketching everything around me, all juiced up on coffee!
